    FIAlab understands that during peak testing seasons laboratories need to run samples as efficiently as possible. That’s why we developed this speedy method for orthophosphate in soil samples. By using a high-efficiency heater and external sample pump, this method is able to achieve significantly higher sample throughput:

    > 4 samples / min or 240 samples / hour
    > Detection Range of 0.2-50 mg Phosphorus / L
    > Absolutely no loss of reliability or accuracy due to increased throughput
    > Compatible with Olsen and Bray extractions
    > Method easily configured and run in FIAsoft

Application 

This method is designed for the determination of orthophosphate in soil samples. The sample is prepared offline and then introduced to the FIAlab analyzer. Ortho-phosphates react with molybdate anions to form a yellow colored complex; this complex is reduced to a molybdenum blue species by ascorbic acid.

By using a high-efficiency heater and a fast, external sample pump, this method is able to achieve high sample throughput.

This method is designed for the determination of orthophosphate in high-range samples of various matrices. The method is capable of detecting phosphate in the range of 0.2-50.0 mg P / L.
