FIAlab’s ProSIAmpler uses a liquid handling technique that automates important processes like sterile sampling, liquid handling, and measurement; this system is the leading bioreactor autosampler on the market. The ProSIAmpler, with its variable sample volume, draws ranging from 25uL to 10,000uL, providing flexibility and precision in sample handling. The ProSIAmpler can monitor bioreactors' nutrients, pH, cell densities, and viabilities, in-situ, using ion-selective electrodes (ISE). This unlocks the potentiometric determination of several bioreactor parameters that are essential for optimal conditions where the ProSIAmpler can be programmed to automatically sample upon certain analyte concentrations or pH levels.

A sterile barrier is maintained with the SIAlock. The SIAlock is designed as single-use and eliminates the need for disassembly and cleaning, streamlining the workflow and reducing the risk of cross-contamination. Its liquid-based sample transport system, which is more robust than air-based systems, ensures reliable and accurate sample transfer. With an incredibly low internal volume of approximately 185uL, the SIAlock minimizes sample waste and enhances the overall efficiency of the system, making it suitable for processing thousands of samples before replacement.

The integration of the FIAlab 250uL Clarification Cartridge (250CC) into the ProSIAmpler system further enhances its capabilities. The 250CC cartridge offers exceptional clarification performance, capable of clarifying samples down to 25uL, which is 40 times lower than most competitors. Its compact design allows for seamless incorporation into the ProSIAmpler, optimizing the use of laboratory space. Real-time monitoring of the 250CC cartridge's efficiency through SIAsoft provides valuable insights into the clarification process, ensuring optimal performance and quality control. The 250CC cartridge is designed for long-term use, with the ability to be utilized up to 1,000 times, reducing operational costs and waste. It has demonstrated successful clarification of cells up to 50x10^6 cell/mL, making it suitable for a wide range of sample concentrations. Additionally, the external cell removal feature of the 250CC cartridge enables both multi-reactor clarification and quick replacement, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous workflow.

The ProSIAmpler system is powered by FIAlab's in-house SIAsoft software, which offers seamless integration of the autosampler, liquid handler, and detection modules. This integration streamlines the entire workflow, allowing for efficient and automated sample handling.
