FIAlab’s ProSIAmpler uses a liquid handling technique that automates important processes like sterile sampling, liquid handling, and measurement; this system is the leading bioreactor autosampler on the market. When combined with the SIAlock, 250CC, and SIAsoft, this system offers a multitude of benefits for laboratory operations. The ProSIAmpler, with its variable sample volume, draws ranging from 25uL to 10,000uL, providing flexibility and precision in sample handling. It can efficiently draw and analyze bioreactor samples, saving time and increasing automation.
The ProSIAmpler can monitor bioreactors' nutrients, pH, cell densities, and viabilities, in-situ, using ion-selective electrodes (ISE). This unlocks the potentiometric determination of several bioreactor parameters that are essential for optimal conditions where the ProSIAmpler can be programmed to automatically sample upon certain analyte concentrations or pH levels.
The FIAlab 250µL Clarification Cartridge (250CC) extends the ProSIAmpler's capabilities with high-performance clarification and purification at high cell densities, in a compact, space-saving format. Its external cell-removal design supports multi-reactor clarification and quick swaps for minimal downtime, while SIAsoft monitors efficiency in real time. Precise capillary-based liquid handling then meters and deposits clarified sample directly into downstream analytical devices.
The ProSIAmpler runs on FIAlab's in-house SIAsoft software, unifying the autosampler, liquid handler, and detection modules into one automated workflow. Python-based AI feedback enables adaptive processing, and SIAsoft integrates easily with existing lab systems.
Together, these features deliver precise sample handling, efficient clarification and purification, and real-time monitoring—making the ProSIAmpler a valuable asset for research and production. Explore the full SIA product line or contact a FIAlab scientist.

Application Range
SIA can be used in many processes in a on broad range of applications.
On-line Monitoring
On-line monitoring, feedback, and control of your process.
Python Scripting
Easily create custom protocols with Python scripting in SIAsoft.
Automation
Automate sterile sample draw, clarification, purification, titer calculation, normalization, pretreatment, and LCMS injection in one software.
Plastics
Eliminate need for pipette tips and 96-well plates.
Reagent Waste
Little reagent waste and very low consumable costs.
Sample Pretreatment Assays
This automated in-line LC peptide mapping pre-treatment method can be used on any LC unit setup for the multi-attribute monitoring (MAM) of biotherapeutics. The method utilizes a denaturant, reductant, alkylation agent, desalting, and trypsin digestion to prepare a biological sample prior to LCMS analysis.

This method is for the determination of amino acid species in cell culture media. The method utilizes the Water’s proprietary labeling reagent “AccQ Tag” for derivatizing amino acids prior to HPLC analysis. Intended as a single reagent chemistry, the Amino Acid Analysis package is used for cell culture monitoring.
